my february 12m.o.f.
For the month of February I decided to test the Kiev 60. I received this camera a few years ago as a christmas gift and have been wanting try it. Everything seemed to be in working order as I loaded it up with some slightly expired HP5.
Unfortunately, that was not the case : / I ended up wasting a whole roll of film as I kept winding and realized the frame counter did not work. So instead of finding another camera, I used the tried and true method of counting my shots by putting painters tape on the back of the camera and marking each frame. In the end I got 9 out of 12 frames exposed so I’d call it a win! This camera is a beast of a medium format camera. It is definitely obnoxious and robust to carry around. Overall, I’m happy with the results and would love to shoot a roll of color through it. I was impressed with the quality of the lens and love the details it captured.
These were developed and scanned by my friends over at Tacoma Photo Center : )
