my january 12m.o.f.
As we roll in to March, I finally have my scans for January! Better late than never!
These were shot on the reusable Heyday camera I was gifted at Christmas. I used an expired roll of Ilford Delta 400 and shot these images in the Canary Islands while on vacation. I unfortunately was not able to finish the roll of 36 images because I ended up mailing my film home due to fears of it being re-scanned at the airport on the way home.
Here’s the description for the camera:
“Old school cool is back with the heyday™ 35mm Camera. With focus-free lens and a built-in flash, this camera is designed to take the fuss out of snapping pictures when the moment’s right. Point and shoot with a standard 35mm film roll that can be wound manually after every shot. It’s the perfect piece for the shutterbug in you.”
So basically a Holga in 35mm format?
Developed and Scanned by the lovely folks over at Tacoma Photo Center. Local non-profit that has a community darkroom and classes! Check em’ out!
So as you can see they are all only slightly terrible. (ha, ha, ha) I think this camera would be a step up from a disposable camera because you get to choose what type of film you use, and it has a built in flash but otherwise probably not worth the investment.
Hoping to get my scans for February on the blog soon!
